Dealing with Retirement

Retirement means different things to different people. Different ages of retirement, different financial needs, different living arrangements, different goals, to name a few.  The oldest Baby Boomers  turned 65 in 2011 and like all life stages, they are likely to approach retirement in new and creative ways.

After retiring from the world of work, some people find their life has less meaning than before.  This can result in an existential crisis - what gives my life meaning, hope and purpose?  How will I spend my days?  How can I give back to society?  These and other questions provide "grist for the mill" for clients planning to retire and for those who have already taken that step.
